
Kindergarten enjoyed picking popcorn sight words and writing them on their own popcorn piece. Students are excited to share their snack with their parents tonight. Happy sight word reading!


4th-5th grade canned food drive off to a good start! Students are trying to raise 400 food items and $275 to donate to Helping Hands in Stanford and Project Evergreen in Danvers.


Mrs. Loyer’s 2nd graders are learning how to respond to their reading through letter writing. Today we wrote a letter to Mr. Hurley to recommend a new book we read!





The 5th graders at Oly North are helping kindergartners learn how to code with Scratch Jr.




The third graders are under “Elf Watch” this December!


Deck The Halls is tomorrow night from 5:30-7:00 pm at ONE!

IXL at Home - students should log into IXL via the Olympia Webpage. If trying to log in directly then be sure to use first name, first initial of last name @olympia. Next use their AR password. That’s it. They are logged in and will get credit for minutes and questions answered.

Pre-K’s Learning Stations this week are all Pirate Themed Games! We are working on turn taking, shape and color recognition.

Cold and Flu season is upon us. When reporting an absence, please indicate the type of illness affecting your student (i.e. positive flu results, stomach flu, pink eye, etc.) , so the school may take the proper precautions.

This week, our Pre-K theme is Pirates and our room is themed out for the kids to enjoy!




Family Reading Night is Thursday, November 29 from 5-8 pm at Barnes & Noble in Bloomington. There will be guest readers, activities, and hot chocolate. We hope to see everyone there!
