Due to visibility and road conditions, all Olympia schools will start one hour later then normal Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

5th grade students added some water color to their one word goal cards for 2019!

There will be NO ACTIVITIES taking place at Olympia North on Saturday, January 12th.

The mini cheer clinic that was scheduled for Saturday Jan. 12th has been postponed to Sunday Jan. 13th from 12 pm to 3 pm in the high school.

5th graders using green screen technology to create a news cast highlighting the benefits of an urban forest!

Friendly reminder to find those library books and put them in your child’s book bag! I have several new books ready for checkout upon our return tomorrow!

Winter Break runs December 22 - January 6. School will resume on Monday, January 7, 2019.

Olympia North students received early holiday gifts from the AMBUCS bike company today! We are so appreciative of their generosity!

🚧HARD HAT ZONE 🚧 Workers in Mrs. Loyer’s class are bulldozing through subtraction this morning. They’re working hard to build the tallest tower by solving subtraction problems with regrouping!

Third grade reading class was turned into a hospital today as students performed text feature surgery!

*CAUTION: Hard Work Ahead* Mrs. Schroeder’s 2nd graders have been busy building on their learning this week!

CAUTION: HARD WORK AHEAD! Mrs. Loyer’s 2nd graders are constructing and deconstructing all week! We’re building our rough drafts in writing, deconstructing numbers in math, and sequencing in reading!

Miss Slifer’s speech and language students are making ornaments while practicing their speech sounds and describing skills.

4th Graders at Olympia North are learning how to play chess. This takes strategic thinking and planning ahead. Today they started their first chess tournament!

Here are the 2nd graders during their last practice for the concert tonight! Do not forget to have the kids there by 6:15 in the HIGH SCHOOL GYM! We cannot wait!

Due to increasing amounts of stomach flu cases, if you student complains of nausea, stomach cramping, decreased appetite, etc please keep your student home. If you have questions or concerns, please contact me at the school. Thank you for your help!

Christmas program is tonight at Olympia High School. Program begins at 6:30 pm!

Students wrote letters to our ISU student, and read them aloud to her on her last day. We will miss you so much Miss Mitchell!
