Parents,

We know that there are currently some roads around the district that are covered with water or are otherwise impassable. Given safety is our primary concern, our buses will not go through standing water on the road. If you know your road is impassable and you have children that are typically picked up by one of our buses, please email Robin Talley at director-transportation@olympia.org. You will either need to find an alternate route and take them to school or we will see them on Tuesday (assuming the water continues to go down). Thank you for your help. This is a difficult situation to navigate given water levels are changing minute by minute.
