At Olympia South Elementary, we believe that being a Spartan means more than just doing well in class—it means being a great neighbor and a supportive friend. The month of January, our focus was on Community Building and Caring for Others.

These selected students have gone above and beyond to make our school a kinder, more inclusive place. Whether it was helping a classmate in need, including someone new at recess, or simply spreading positivity, these Super Spartans are leading by example!

First graders at South are busy learning about our communities and what makes them special! Today, we learned about maps and all of their features. Students then worked in groups to create maps of our classrooms. We worked on listening and communication to be good teammates!

There is nothing quite like the sound of student laughter to kick off the holidays! ❤️

The staff at Olympia South Elementary wanted to share some of the joy from our "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman" game. It was a game full of Christmas spirit, teamwork, and a lot of toilet paper!

We love making these memories with your children. Happy Holidays from all of us at OSE!
