
Thank you to Minier Christian Church for all of their hospitality during the OHMS fire and remote learning. They have opened their doors to us for reunification, staff lunches, and the OHS band has been practicing there. We are so thankful for their partnership!

FFA Ag Day at Oly West! OHS ag students are teaching elementary students all about agriculture!









Congrats to Keagan Uphoff and Cohen Alexander for earning Sangamo Conference titles tonight at Auburn. Keagan was the high jump champion and Cohen won the 100 meter dash.
Other top placers were:
Rylan Peifer, Reygan Sitton, Keagan Uphoff, and Cohen Alexander- 2nd in the 400 meter relay
Easton Nowaskie- 4th place in the high jump
Skylar Biggs- 4th in the discus
Rylan Peifer-4th in the 200
Nolen Yeary- 2nd in the shot put
Keagan Uphoff- 3rd in the 110 hurdles and 2nd in the 300 hurdles
The team placed 5th out of 10. The guys will be back in action on Friday at Clinton.




Olympia girls track team took 2nd place at our conference meet in Auburn this afternoon. The list of PR’s for today is long:
Kennadi Ballenger in the 100: 16.69 and the 200: 35.03
Melissa Bieber in the 100m hurdles:16.73 and 300m hurdles: 47.4
Mallory Miller in long jump: 4.74m
Kyra West in shot put: 9.99m
Grace Whiteside in the 400: 1:02.82
Emma Swartzendruber in the 400: 1:04.73
Anna Bieber in the 800: 2:23.10
Abby Litwiller in the 800: 2:42.22
Maddie bales had a season record in the 1600: 6:25.9
The 4x4 and 4x8 teams came in 2nd place falling short to Pleasant Plaines in both races. It was a great meet with perfect weather!
The Bieber sisters fought hard to bring home some hardware.


Varsity baseball got a 11-1 win tonight vs Mackinaw. Clayton Barnes and Elijah Smith with multiple hits. Gunnar Wilson with the win on the mound allowing 1 hit and striking out 8. Spartans will be at Prairie Central tomorrow at 4:30.

Varsity baseball got a 8-4 win Tuesday night at Athens. Jack Pagel and Clayton Barnes with multiple hits. Caden Kindred with a complete game win on the mound.

OHS Soccer took a 1-0 victory @ IVC yesterday.
Sophomore Raquel Birky found the far post of the net with 2:35 remaining in the contest.
Goalkeeper Izzy Forrest picked up her 4th clean sheet this season.
Brilliant goals also this week by Andi Ewalt, Amy Dederich, Grace Birkey and Grace Carter. Assists by Birky and Kensie Kleinschmidt.

The Sangamo Conference high school track meet scheduled for today at Auburn High School has been postponed to tomorrow May 3rd.

Olympia varsity baseball secured a 3-2 win in 8 innings on the road against Rochester. The Spartans were lead to victory by an excellent pitching performance from Owen Alford(6 2/3), and Elijah Smith(1 1/3) with the close. The boys play Athens on the road tomorrow @ 4:30.
