In the coming weeks we will be sharing a number of bite sized articles related to our District AI Plan. This week we are focusing on transparency around our journey with generative AI as a district starting in the Spring of 2025 and looking forward to 2028 and beyond.
We are dedicated to our district principle of Empowering Learners to Achieve Personal Success. Having a dedicated plan for educating our students about the risks and benefits of generative AI will help us live up to that principle.

Formal discussions begin on a K-12 scope and sequence for student responsible AI use.

Gemini Chat and NotebookLM open for all students.
Development of K-12 scope and sequence for generative AI.
Spring 2027
Pilot scope and sequence with a variety of grade levels.
School Year 2028
Implementation of student responsible use K-12 scope and sequence.
