OHS Goes Remote

Dear OHS Families:  While we have seen several positive cases since the new year, we have been able to adjust and continue in person education.  While it is true that we are scheduled to have a large number of those quarantined return tomorrow, we have unfortunately reached a situation where we are struggling to find substitute teachers to fill in for those individuals that are unable to teach from their classrooms.  We have reached a point where OHS will be on remote learning for the remainder of the week (January 19, 2021 - January -January 22, 2021).

Tomorrow will be a blend of synchronous and asynchronous teaching - teachers will send out an email tomorrow morning communicating with  students to what the plan is for the day.  They will then follow with a plan for the remainder of the week.  We will also be in contact with families whose students have been quarantined multiple times as well as those students with IEP’s to come into school on Wednesday and Friday.

While I know you are inundated with  school emails, please carefully read each one that I send out over the remainder of the week.
