OMS Softball Tryouts are canceled for today, Wednesday July 30th. They will resume tomorrow, Thursday July 31st from 3-5 at the OHS softball fields.

If you are a high schooler looking for a fall activity come give cross country a try. No commitment needed, see if it's a good fit.

Middle School baseball tryouts will begin Monday, August 4th from 4:30 to 6:30 at the high school baseball fields. Tryouts will be Monday through Wednesday. Make sure all players are registered and have physical paperwork submitted to the high school office before August 4th.

Fall sports and activities are fast approaching. Make sure to get registered on https://schools.snap.app/OlympiaHS and have an updated physical turned in.

The Atlanta Christian Church is sponsoring this event for all Olympia South students. We hope to see you there!


Attention all returning and potential new comers! Boys Soccer will start Coaches Camp this coming Wednesday July 9th from 8:00 am to 9:30 at the practice field right outside the solar panels at the high school. Please bring cleats, water, and a friend! We look forward to a great year!

Middle school cross country season is right around the corner! Our summer running club is a great way for those who are interested in joining the team to try it out. Check out this flyer for more information!


The middle school track team wrapped up their track season with a great showing at the IESA State Championships this past weekend.. Our 16 state qualifiers had some of the best performances of the year in this highly competitive meet. The weekend concluded with multiple personal and school records, 8 athletes reaching the medal stand and 2 state champions. Lucy Prestegaard won the 8th grade shot with a throw of 10.29 meters. Rae Lemons won the 100 meter wheelchair race for the second consecutive year with a state record time of 24.52 seconds.
Sawyer Anderson finished 12th in the state in shot put with a throw of 36 feet 3 inches.
Kameron White ended his season with a top ten finish in the discus with a personal record throw of 134 feet.
Kinsley Gale finished 9th in the long jump in a highly competitive long jump field and set a personal and school record in the 400 meter run with a time of 1:05.59.
Mili Davis medaled in the 1600 meter run for the second consecutive year with a time of 5:32 seconds and set a school record in the 800 with a time of 2:28.32.
Emma Ekiss set a personal record in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:32 finishing 14th overall.
Ty Gale shattered both school records for the 1600 and 800 meter run. Ty ran the 1600 meter run in 4:54 for a 14th place finish and then turned around and obliterated the school record in the 800 with a time of 2:08.26. This time was good enough to earn Ty a 6th place medal.
The 7th grade girls 4x100 relay team of Kinsley Gale, Lexi Bollmann, Amya Allen and Annelia Klink broke their own school record with a time of 55.8. They ended up finishing 13th overall in the state.
The 7th grade 4x400 relay team of Carrie Welch, Emma Ekiss, Lexi Bollman and Kinsley Gale broke their own school record with a run of 4:31.71 . This time not only broke the school record but also earned this group of young ladies a spot on the medal stand with a 8th place finish.


Our Book Buddies had a camp-tastic time today with a fun camping theme! 🏕️ We read stories, ate delicious s’mores, and even got creative with a directed drawing activity. This week, the Olympia Transition Program teamed up with Ms. Baker’s 2nd grade class for a Disney-themed adventure! We read books, enjoyed a sweet slice of peach pie together, & a did a Mickey Mouse directed drawing. We love sharing learning and laughter with our buddies—especially when it involves a little Disney fun! 💫📖🧡
